It's really versatile at that larger size, though you'll probably want a shallow tote of some kind so you can still pack soft bags and other items on top if you need the extra space. Coz to carry pizza boxes in cold weather, or Desktop Computer systems. If you go the case route, you may want to add a layer of foam to the bottom, especially if you have an SLR you want to safely carry around with you. It also helps to isolate them from other items I choose to pack. That said if I was taking a change of clothes I'd probably put them in a plastic bag inside the tote so that if it were pouring outside I could grab the bag in one go.
